Xena Events have teamed up with Front Row Events to co-promote this exciting evening With Marco Pierre White at the STADIUM OF LIGHT – SUNDERLAND.

Marco Pierre White, world renowned chef, serves up a sizzling evening’s entertainment as he is joined by the Sunderland first team players. The event will take place on Tuesday 30th March 2010.

Members of the Sunderland squad will be present with three players chosen to enter the kitchen under Marco’s watchful eye as they help prepare what will be a fantastic dining experience, with each of the three team mates cooking a different course.Participate in the fun and vote for your favourite courses. The best voted Chef will be announced during a live question & answer session after dinner featuring Marco and his special guests.

Weddings can be very expensive for the happy couple. However if you shopped around you can get the same quality and pay half the price.

What I would ask you do is set your self's a budget on how much you want to spend on each item for Example a wedding cake can cost from about £200.00 to £1,000 and over. The same with the Chair covers a lot of places are charging £6.50 per chair including set up fee's which is a lot of money say even if you had 100 chairs that's £650.00, if you took the time to look around you can get them for less, Xena events hire out chair covers at £3.00 including the sash and setting up and it's the same quality chair covers. It's the same on Flowers, Favours, Wedding Dresses and Accessories.

Top Tips

Planning your big day should be a special time, however I know there is a lot of organising involved. Firstly what you need to decide on is when you are getting married and what kind of ceremony you are having? Church or Civil. If your having a Civil Ceremony will you be having it in the hotel or in the registry office. Once that is sorted you can get started on planning the rest of your wedding.

You will need to send out your invitations out in time so you can let all your Family and friends now the date of your wedding.

Why Xena?

Now we have Christmas and New-Year over with it's back to work. I often get asked what does Xena mean and why I have chosen Xena as the name for my business.

Xena (Warrior Princess) is an American television series,which was written by director - producer Robert Tapert, Xena was played by Lucy Lawless. However Xena is also a girls name and in Greek it means Hospitality which I thought would be perfect for my business.

It took me 8 months of looking in to the business before I started trading in May 2009.

Cocktail Master Class ( Zurich Christmas Party )

Xena Events were pleased when asked by Zurich Assurance LTD if we could organise the Zurich Christmas Party, they were looking for something different that everyone would remember and most of all be able to enjoy.

We came up with a Cocktail Master Class for them, which allowed each member of the party to get behind a licensed Bar at The Living Room in (Newcastle upon Tyne) to make their own cocktails. after 2 1/2 hours of great fun, lots of Cocktail making and drinking this was followed by a sit down meal for them.

We also had a professional photographer there to capture the great moments and fun which will be remembered by all in years to come.
